2.1 The Committee received evidence from Dr Quentin Sandifer, Dr Julie Bishop and Dr Sumina Azam.

 

3       Public Health (Wales) Bill - Stage 1 evidence session 3 - Local Health Boards’ Directors of Public Health

3.1 The Committee received evidence from Dr Gillian Richardson and Dr Kelechi Nnoaham.

 

4       Paper(s) to note

4.1   Correspondence from the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport and Minister for Social Services and Public Health regarding the Welsh Government's draft budget 2017-18

4.1 The Committee noted the letter from the Cabinet Secretary and the Minister regarding the Welsh Government's draft budget 2017-18.

 

5       Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting

5.1 The Committee agreed the motion.

 

6       Public Health (Wales) Bill - Stage 1 evidence sessions 2 and 3 - consideration of evidence

6.1 The Committee considered the evidence given by Public Health Wales and the Local Health Boards’ Directors of Public Health.

 

7       Inquiry into loneliness and isolation - consideration of scope and approach to the inquiry

7.1 The Committee considered and agreed its scope and approach to the inquiry, and agreed to launch a public consultation early in the new year.

 

8       Legislative Consent Memorandum - Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Bill

8.1 The Committee considered the Legislative Consent Memorandum and agreed to report to the Assembly.
